Plain-English terms.
This is a Terms of Service. It is intentionally short. If a clause here ever conflicts with what we tell you in the product, the product wins until we update this page.
Effective 2026-06-10 · v1.2
1. Who we are
"Dandelion" is the platform operated by Daniel Weber, a sole proprietor (LLC formation in progress). Reachable at [email protected]. Located in the United States.
2. What you're buying
Dandelion is an operating system that replaces fragmented vendor stacks (email marketing, DM automation, help desk, subscriptions, analytics, automation, creator tools, affiliate platforms) with one unified surface, sold as standalone tools and as a combined platform.
Fees are set per workspace at checkout or by written agreement. The exact amounts, billing cadence, and any one-time fees you owe are the ones shown on your checkout page or written into your signed agreement, nowhere else. We will never charge you an amount you have not explicitly seen and accepted. If a price changes for your plan, your continuously active subscription keeps the price you signed up at unless we give you 60 days written notice.
3. Your data is yours
All data you input or that flows through your Dandelion tenant is yours. Dandelion holds it in trust as your data processor; you remain the data controller. We never sell, share, or train AI models on your customer data. We never use your data for any purpose outside operating your tenant.
Your data lives in a Postgres database operated by Dandelion on Supabase, in the United States, scoped to your workspace via row-level tenant filters that make cross-workspace access structurally impossible. Encrypted off-site backups run automatically to a separate storage provider (Cloudflare R2) per the 3-2-1 backup doctrine.
Export, no fees, no waiting period. You can request a complete export of your data at any time, at no charge, as often as you want. Exports arrive as machine-readable files (JSON and CSV) you can re-import elsewhere or open in any spreadsheet.
On cancellation: 30-day grace, export included. You can cancel at any time. Your data stays exportable for 30 days after cancellation, and we will confirm your final export before deletion. You can undo the cancellation any time during that 30-day window without penalty. After 30 days, your data is fully deleted from our infrastructure.
Cancellation is confirmed by email so an attacker who reaches your dashboard cannot delete your account without access to your inbox.
If Dandelion the company is acquired, sold, or wound down, your data export is guaranteed and you get 90 days written notice before any service interruption to migrate off. The export bundle format described above stays available for that entire window.
4. What we promise
- The platform will function as described on dandelion.build at the time of your signup. If a feature you signed up for breaks, we will fix it or refund you pro rata.
- We will never make a destructive change to your data (delete records, reshape rows, send mass emails on your behalf) without explicit per-action approval from you.
- We will tell you about a security incident affecting your data within 72 hours of discovery.
5. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time by email or from your workspace settings. The data mechanics (30-day grace, export included, day-30 deletion) are described in section 3 above. The unused remainder of a billing period is refunded pro rata within 7 business days. Refund treatment of any one-time fees is governed by your written agreement.
6. What you promise
You won't use Dandelion to:
- Send mass communications to people who haven't consented to hear from you (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, similar applies).
- Process data on behalf of someone whose data you don't have a lawful basis to hold.
- Reverse-engineer, copy, or compete with the platform itself.
- Use the platform for illegal purposes or to violate any third party's rights.
You're responsible for the content you store, the messages you send, and your compliance with applicable law (especially if you operate outside the US).
7. Limits of liability
Dandelion is provided "as is". We do our best, but software has bugs and third parties (Stripe, Cloudflare, Supabase, Resend, etc.) can have outages outside our control.
Our maximum liability for any claim arising from your use of Dandelion is the amount you paid Dandelion in the 12 months preceding the claim. We're not liable for indirect, consequential, or lost-profit damages.
If you believe Dandelion has materially failed to deliver what was sold, email [email protected] first. We will work in good faith to resolve before any other process.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Dandelion against third-party claims arising from your content, your customer relationships, or your violation of section 6.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms by posting a new version at dandelion.build/tos and emailing every
paying customer 30 days before the change takes effect. If you don't agree to the change, you can cancel
before it takes effect and we'll refund pro rata.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Daniel's residence (currently Tennessee, will update if/when this changes), without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute that can't be resolved through good-faith email will be resolved by binding arbitration in that state.
11. Founder commitment
This is a one-founder-plus-AI operation, currently. We sleep, we eat, we have spouses and pets. We will tell you about meaningful operational risks proactively. We will not take your money if we don't believe we can deliver.
If anything in this document feels unclear or unfair, email me directly at [email protected]. I will personally read and respond.
